About Us

Company Founder
In the communications field since 1976, Michael Langlois has established an outstanding reputation as a top independent issues management and communication skills advisor and provider of high-level strategic counsel.

Michael established Diversified Communications in 1989, and since that time has developed successful relationships with a wide range of individuals and corporations. In 1999, because of increasing demands from clients in the sports sector, Michael formally established Prospect Communications Inc.

Michael works with professional sports teams, organizations, athletes and coaches at the professional and amateur levels.

With Diversified Communications, and now Prospect, Michael has worked with an impressive list of corporate organizations, including Barrick Gold Corporation, Searle/Phamarcia Canada (now part of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Corporation), Sprint Canada and many others. He also has worked for many years on behalf of a wide range of not-for-profit organizations, including The Arthritis Society in Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Trillium Gift of Life Network. And, of course, over the past two decades Michael has worked with a wide range of high-profile sports clients (some of whom you can read about on the Clients page).

Earlier in his career, Michael worked as a senior consultant with international public relations firms Hill & Knowlton and Burson-Marsteller and prior to that was a broadcast media professional for close to 10 years.
